3 qts. green tomato chunks
1 cup onions, sliced thin
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup hot peppers
4 cups sugar
Put tomatoes & half cup of salt. Let stand 1 hour then drain salt water. In sauce pan bring sugar & vinegar to boil. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Put into jars & seal.
Makes approx. 8 pints
Use according to taste.
